Restorative Yoga Weekend Immersion

Yoga Alliance Certified (YACEP)

This event has already passed. Please check out our Yoga Schedule and all our other offerings

In this level 1 restorative immersion, you will get to experience the power of restorative yoga poses and learn to relax, rejuvenate and heal yourself through a deep state of relaxation.

The ancient rishis left us so many techniques to heal our body, energy, mind, intellect and ego, so that we can tap into our higher Self and live a vibrant life to our fullest potential. Modern day yogis and yoginis adapted these techniques to make yoga more therapeutic and healing for our often overworked and over stimulated senses, organs and systems.

This training is perfect for teachers looking to add more restorative elements to their classes as well as practicing students looking to enhance their personal routines.

Curriculum:

  • Stress, dis-ease and the nervous system (sympathetic and parasympathetic)
  • The need for relaxation on a physical, emotional and spiritual level
  • Powerful effects of restorative yoga
  • Essential restorative poses (heart opener, forward folds, twists, hip openers, inversion, etc.)
  • How to use props to support restorative yoga
