Sharon Ruedeman is enamored by yoga and all the blessings and benefits it has brought to her life since starting her practice back in 2011. She completed her 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Stanton Street Yoga and continues to learn from and be inspired by her teachers there. She is also a certified Relax and Renew®trainer, studying restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater.

As a native New Yorker, Sharon understands the need to take a moment for yourself in the super fast pace of the city. She believes that the journey through yoga is highly personal, and is honored to be given the opportunity to share yoga’s teachings and her experiences in hopes of helping others on their personal path of transformation.

Connect to your heart by calming the body and quieting the mind. With the use of yoga props and soothing sounds, we’ll move through a sequence of restorative poses.  Music, mantra meditation and essential oils, create a safe and relaxing atmosphere. The slower pace and deep breathing help one achieve a deep level of relaxation that has a calming effect on the nervous system and comfort the mind and body down to the cellular level supporting health and wellbeing.

This class is for people at all levels of yoga, and is especially valuable for those who have trouble relaxing.
