Through this training you will be exploring the power of yin yoga, a quieter practice to soothe the nervous system by holding poses for long periods of time. You will walk away with an understanding of the physiological, energetic, and psychological benefits of the yin methods. You will dive deeply into the practice and as a result learn to facilitate yin yoga for inner experiences in a safe way.
This training is perfect for teachers looking to add more yin-sights to their classes as well as practicing students looking to enhance their personal routines and balance through yin yoga.

- The philosophy of yin yoga
- Understanding the yin tissues and how to safely access them
- The need for insights through yin yoga on a physical, emotional and spiritual level
- Powerful methods of yin yoga
- Essential yin poses (heart opener, forward folds, twists, hip openers, inversion, etc.)
- How to use props to support yin yoga
- Sequencing for a yin yoga class
- Tools to facilitate and guide others into yin safely
- Pranayama & Meditation to support your yin practice
She has been assisting Yogi Charu and teaching in over 30 yoga and meditation teacher trainings. Brinda was initiated into the Brahma Madhava Gaudiya Sampradaya as a disciple of HH Radhanath Swami.
With over 2,000 training hours, Brinda’s teaching style is very nourishing, grounding and uplifting with a focus on breathing and the relationship with Self. As a senior lead teacher at the Bhakti Center, she offers different styles of yoga classes, workshops, and trainings both one on one and in group settings. Her style includes Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Prana Nidra, Pranayama, Prana Vidya Healing, Chakra Meditation and other yoga and meditation techniques. Brinda also leads local and international retreats and offers Ayurveda self-care treatment and consultation.
