This event has already passed. Please check out our Yoga Schedule and all our other offerings

Join Keli Woods and Jahnavi Harrison for an uplifting evening of connection, reflection and joy through music, kirtan and story. A special event and the first of its kind at the Bhakti Center: this is one not to miss!

Jahnavi Harrison was raised in a family of Bhakti-yoga practitioners at Bhaktivedanta Manor, in England. She is a lover of music, dance, visual art and the written word and trained in ballet, Western classical violin, Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music. For 15 years she has offered her voice and violin playing in the performance of sacred music and call-and-response mantra chant (kirtan). Her sound encompasses rich influences of East and West, and aims to offer an experience which truly nourishes the spirit. She released her debut album, ‘Like a River to the Sea’ in July 2015, featured on the Grammy nominated ‘Bhakti Without Borders’ charity album (2016) and most recently released an EP with Willow Smith called ‘RISE’.  Jahnavi presents regularly for BBC Radio 2’s ‘Pause for Thought’ and has been a part of the Bhakti Center in Manhattan since 2018.

Keli Woods is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer and producer now living in London. He began his career at age 13 as a professional Jazz drummer playing at venues around the U.K. and also toured the musical theatre circuit in Wales and England until age 19. He also spent 5 years living as a monk in ashrams situated in Wales and India. Having dedicated much of his time to the study of ancient wisdom texts, meditation and a yogic lifestyle, he decided to graduate from this phase of life and return to his music career. Having recently completed his first USA tour as a support artist in the band of mantra music artist Jahnavi Harrison, he now performs alongside celebrities such as Russell Brand, Willow, Radhika Das and many others at festivals and events across the globe. His natural talent, accompanied with years of experience help bring the depth of his music to life for live audiences near and far.
