Overview

This training will not only equip you to teach yoga asana in a variety of settings with confidence and ease, but it will instill within you the values and principles of yoga culture that can help enhance your personal life in deep and transformative ways.  Physical asana is one part of the vast landscape of personal development that is yoga.  This training highlights the spiritual culture of yoga as a means for personal transformation.  Over the course of 18 days, you will be immersed in yoga philosophy, lifestyle, culture, meditation practices, holistic health and wellness, and personal spiritual connection to self and others.

Together, we will explore yoga’s timeless teachings and how they apply to your life today.  As you apply these teachings regularly, in a supportive community, you will notice yourself transform from the inside out. This course is not just about gaining textbook knowledge, but about applying the teachings and living the lifestyle of a yogi, leading to a profound and deep experience of what yoga has to offer.

As a graduate, you will head into the world confident and ready to lead grounded, safe, and inspired yoga classes. You’ll also learn how to offer modifications, posture options, clarification of contraindications, and how to create classes with progressive levels of difficulty. More than that, you’ll have the tools and knowledge to instill life-changing principles into your classes.

Provided that you have completed all requirements upon graduation, you will receive a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate and have the option to register as a RYT 200 via Yoga Alliance.
