Please come and join us on Sunday, October 9th as we begin our observance of the sacred Kartik month with a special celebration to honor the Appearance of Sri Gaurachandra at the Bhakti Center.

Five years ago, our community engaged in the timeless Vedic tradition of calling the presence of the compassionate form of the Divine, Sri Gaurachandra, to reside on our Temple altar and give us the opportunity to serve Him. So, every Sharad Purnima, the full moon on the first day of the holy month of kartika, we come together to celebrate and show our gratitude to Sri Gauracandra for entering into our lives and showering us with His mercy.

This year we will do a Brahmotsavam Homa, which is a ceremony to reinvigorate the connection & commitment between the devotees and the Deities through worshipping them with sacred mantras.

Srila Prabhupada said that “devotees of Krishna must persistently seek the favor and mercy of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to become fit to return home, back to Godhead.”
