Friendship is one of the most sacred gifts we receive in this lifetime—an expression of divine love that grounds us, transforms us, and gently reminds us of who we really are.
In this intimate workshop, we’ll explore friendship as a divine path: with ourselves, with Krishna, and with others. Through kirtan, storytelling, sacred text reflection, writing, and group sharing, we’ll honor the beauty of connection and the voice of love within our own hearts.
This offering is inspired by a meaningful anniversary: one year since Juanita first entered the Bhakti Center for Soul Talks and met her friend and teacher Manohara Das—who was leading his very first session that night. Their spiritual friendship, deeply marked by Krishna’s loving arrangement, is the seed from which this gathering bloomed.
Bring a friend—someone you want to celebrate, or someone whose presence in your life feels like a divine arrangement. All hearts are welcome.

Juanita Fonseca-Duffo is a Colombian writer, Bhakti practitioner, and founder of Seyba—a platform that uplifts women’s leadership in Latin America’s clean energy transition. She completed her 200+ hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Viva in Bogotá, Colombia in 2020 and has since created spaces that weave together spirituality, service, and storytelling.
Writing and singing have always been Juanita’s ways of expressing from the heart—but for many years, she abandoned these practices while disconnected from her true self. In recent years, both have become pathways back to her feminine energy and to the Divine. Through kirtan, journaling, poetry, and self-inquiry, she has reawakened her inner voice and deepened her relationship with God. Her wish is to offer these tools to the world—to help others reconnect with themselves and with the Divine, their closest friend.
Manohara Das, a graduate from Chapman University, CA, has immersed himself in the science of bhakti-yoga for the last five years. This year he completed (with honors) the Bhakti Sastri course in Mayapur, India, a five-month intensive study of classical bhakti-yoga texts. Back in the USA, Manohara now serves at the Bhakti Center full-time, giving personal and communal tutelage on the science of bhakti-yoga.
