“That is whole, this is whole;
From wholeness emerges wholeness;
When wholeness is taken from wholeness,
Wholeness still remains.”
From wholeness emerges wholeness;
When wholeness is taken from wholeness,
Wholeness still remains.”
– Isha Upanishad
Across time humanity has repeatedly turned to the cosmos in its search for meaning and purpose. Modern cosmology is allowing us to probe deeper and deeper into our cosmic past, trying to get a glimpse of the possible origin of the universe. But is this methodology getting to the heart of our questions? Partially, yes, but we seek to expand our scientific endeavours to go beyond the limitations of observational and experimental cosmology. To that end, we have been pursuing a new framework engaging science with philosophy, asking fundamental questions on the nature and origin of our universe. What is emerging from our research is a cosmological model that unifies areas of physics/mathematics with metaphysics, which points towards a relational universe that is in a constant process of becoming. The bedrock of this framework is the fundamental role that consciousness could have in our universe, being the source of information and providing direction to the apparent wholeness in the cosmos.
