Ayurvedic Spring Cleanse

8-Day Guided Kitchari Detox for rejuvenating body, mind and spirit

This event has already passed. Please check out our Yoga Schedule and all our other offerings

Join us in cleansing naturally with the change of seasons! This 8-day kitchari detox will provide you with the necessary knowledge, guidance and support to effectively and gently cleanse and rejuvenate body-mind-spirit.

Ayurvedic cleansing is often centered on a simple mono-diet of nourishing kitchari (one-pot-meal of rice, lentil and healing spices) which helps eliminate the build-up of toxins, reset and strengthen digestion, and restore balance and vitality to the body-mind system.

According to Ayurveda, cleansing is an integral part to the healing and regeneration process and is best done at the junction of seasons—especially the spring equinox—to align with the dynamic rhythms of nature. As the coldest of winter days are beginning to warm, thaw and melt, we can make the most of this springtime transition by supporting our physiology in its natural process of lightening, refreshing and reenergizing through a nourishing cleanse.

Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word meaning the knowledge of life. It is India’s ancient and traditional holistic wellness system based on the simple yet profound principles of nature that can guide all aspects of one’s life – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Ayurveda’s timeless teachings offer us a natural pathway to restore balance and health in our body-mind system, revive our connection with nature and spirit, and attain wellness, vitality, and longevity. Ayurveda emphasizes preventive holistic health through diet and lifestyle practices that are in alignment with nature’s rhythms and wisdom.
