Join us for a two-hour cooling restorative workshop with Jillian to welcome summer. Give yourself the gift of time to relax, renew, and prepare for the season of heat and intensity.
We’ll start with a brief overview of why we do restorative yoga, including the science behind it and the benefits students can expect of the practice. Then we’ll move into slow and mindful stretches to prepare the body for the longer holds of restorative poses, allowing us to fully reap their benefits.
With props to support the body in each restorative asana, we’ll cultivate a sense of calming release to allow for relaxation and renewal in the body, breath, and mind. We’ll move slowly and care-fully through the poses and focus on ways to bring cooling gentleness to counter the coming heat of summer. Throughout the workshop, we’ll also use cooling breath techniques and regular check-ins to truly absorb the practice.
Students will leave feeling calm, renewed, and ready to face the heat of summer.
