This masterclass honors the feminine principle within us all—the energy that creates, moves, and sustains. As this month invites us to recognize Mothers, this practice turns toward the deeper essence of that energy—quiet, powerful, and ever-present.

In Tantric understanding, Shakti (शक्ति) refers to the dynamic, creative force of life, while Shanti (शान्ति)—from the Sanskrit root śam, meaning “to pacify or bring to rest”—points to the stillness in which all activity settles.

This practice explores how these are not separate—where stillness itself is alive with energy.

what to expect

A fully floor-based practice guided by Mantra, Breath, and Awareness:

• Mantra Chanting — Experience Om Shanti as vibration in the body, imprinting both energy and stillness.

• Gentle Floor Movement — Prepare the body to sense subtle energy.

• Pranayama (Breathwork) — Awaken and circulate Shakti through the breath.

• Mantra Meditation — Internal repetition of Om Shanti, refining awareness and deepening stillness.

• Pre–Nidra Preparation — Light, rhythmic movements to stimulate the body and keep awareness awake.

• Yoga Nidra — A guided practice integrating Shakti in Shanti—energy within stillness.

This is a practice of refinement—
where nothing is forced, and stillness is not empty, but alive.

Some yoga experience is preferred. All who come with curiosity are welcome.

Pooja Tuladhar is a dedicated teacher specializing in asana, meditation, pranayama, and Yoga Nidra. With a passion for guiding others toward inner peace and holistic wellbeing, Pooja creates nurturing spaces for deep relaxation and self discovery. Drawing on her extensive training and personal practice, Pooja empowers students to cultivate mindfulness, restore balance, and connect with their inner wisdom through the transformative practices of postures, breathwork, meditation and yogic sleep.
