Planned Giving at the Bhakti Center
The following is a list of planned giving options that donors can arrange with the Bhakti Center.
- Charitable Bequest: A charitable bequest is an official statement in a will, a trust, or an estate plan that designates a gift to the Bhakti Center.
- Charitable Gift Annuity: A charitable remainder trust is a trust gifted to a charity that pays an annual amount to the trustee(s). Once the trust is complete, the Bhakti Center receives the remaining funds. A charitable remainder annuity trust pays an amount each year, while a charitable remainder unitrust pays a percentage of the remaining trust fund.
- Life Insurance: If a donor has a life insurance policy, they can designate the Bhakti Center as one of the beneficiaries.
- Retirement Fund: The Bhakti Center can be designated as a beneficiary in retirement assets such as IRA, 401K or pension.
- Retained Life Estates: A donor can give a piece of real estate to the Bhakti Center.
