Students experience a foundation introduction of spiritual life through the natural learning methods of play, song, and sensory-based fun. Lessons cultivate a sense of wonder and joy, while exposure to Vedic culture and tradition is achieved through activities that promote the early education learning goals of communication & language, physical development and the development of a sense of self & others. Course objectives are met through a variety of themes including: Vedic Personalities & Their Life Activities/Pastimes – Kirtan – Festivals – Holy Places – Values & Culture. Teachers have aligned such topics for the age appropriate groups.

Age Groups: 5-9 years old

we would also like to offer classes for a 3-5 year age group, however we are in need of teachers / facilitators.  If you or someone you know feels qualified and interested in this service, please contact Manohari Gopi at children@bhakticenter.org

ATTENDANCE POLICY
A comprehensive Sunday School experience occurs from a commitment to being present. Your child’s presence is deeply valued by the teacher and fellow group members. Consistent attendance offers the most effective opportunity for students to understand concepts, materials and expectations of the class, and to truly embody and apply this important knowledge. Additionally, in-class participation is an integral part of the course. Examples include, but are not limited to, language learning, group discussions, and student directed projects.
