SEASONAL CLASSES

Cooking classes that are small-group and completely hands-on! Hands-on classes are limited to 15 students, so register early. The next available hands-on series is “Early Autumn Cooking” which will be held every Tuesday from September 11th – October 3rd from 5:45-9:00pm

Cooking for Spring Detox! / 4-Part Series

April 16th – May Tuesdays 5:45-9pm
or Weekend Days
April 20th & May 5th, 12th & 18 from 4-7pm

Spring is the time to plant the seeds of health for the coming year, to shed toxins accumulated during winter, and to strengthen the body and lose any unnecessary weight. Unfortunately, few people know how to adjust their diets to detoxify safely. Many juice fasts and other cleansing practices can be harsh and damaging or simply not suitable for your body type.

Ayurveda states that cleansing should always go hand-in-hand with nutrition and nourishment. In this 4-part hands-on series, we will learn how to enhance our spring detox with convenient, easy-to-make, delicious wholesome foods that also help strengthen our whole system. Come discover a whole load of new recipes that include such elements as: dark leafy greens; vegetable entrees that support the liver, kidneys and colon; spices that can help unblock our energy channels and chakras; tonifying soups; smoothies; chutneys; and Khichari, a centerpiece of Ayurvedic nutritional healing.

Topics for discussion will include:

· Preparing the physical & vibrational channels for detox
· What are toxins?
· When detoxification can become re-toxification
· Detox Routine—daily, weekly, monthly, annually
· The 7 body tissues and what foods clean them
· Home Detox Protocol—gradual, gentle and effective cleansing without side effects.

Divya and Co-Teacher OM will guide you in how to prepare your physical and vibrational channels for transitioning into spring and preparing your body for detox.
25 1st Ave, 5th floor.
Limited to 10 students per class. Fee: $340 (includes all materials, tuition, 4 sumptuous meals of at least 8 dishes each).

To register: bvtlife@gmail.com or (646) 571-0710

TESTIMONIALS

I didn’t know it was so easy to cook healthy, flavorful food with ingredients from “scratch.” I never cooked with spices before other than salt and pepper. If I knew making great flavorful food was so easy, I would have started a long time ago. Now, I can say that I actually can “cook.”
~ Maria Depanfilis
