This course is for those who have either already taken Kirtan Camp or have some previous experience playing harmonium or leading kirtan and would like more advanced learning. We will spend more time walking through the different kirtan talas (speed/rhythm) and how to transition from one speed to another. On the harmonium, you will learn complete melodies with their various parts and have the opportunity to practice leading your own kirtan in front of the group. You will also develop your skills for how to play basic kartal beats, both fast and slow, and how to stay attuned to other musicians while in kirtan.
