Sharon Ruedeman is enamored by yoga and all the blessings and benefits it has brought to her life since starting her practice back in 2011. She completed her 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Stanton Street Yoga and continues to learn from and be inspired by her teachers there. She is also a certified Relax and Renew®trainer, studying restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater.

As a native New Yorker, Sharon understands the need to take a moment for yourself in the super fast pace of the city. She believes that the journey through yoga is highly personal, and is honored to be given the opportunity to share yoga’s teachings and her experiences in hopes of helping others on their personal path of transformation.

Using Pranayama Breathwork meditation techniques, the class helps clear the body & mind of stuck energies. Breathwork is a simple tool that helps one find new perspectives on old patterns of behavior, heal traumas and old hurts so that we can get closer to our true natures.

Breathwork will be followed by a few restorative poses so that we may find the stillness to truly absorb our experience and find some sweet and true inner peace. Essential oils, smudging, and reiki will be used to aid you in this amazing gentle but powerful process.
